Make delicious yogurt by yourself ^ ^

Purchasing a yogurt maker can encourage your family to add more yogurt to their diet. This nutritious food has many beneficial enzymes and has been known to improve the GI tract when consumed on a regular basis. You can use these simple steps to work your new yogurt maker.


1 Purchase yogurt starter packs. If your maker did not come with these packets, you will need to go to the store to buy a set. You can typically find them in the same department where you bought the yogurt maker. Otherwise, you can order a set online from Healthy Foods.
2 Heat the milk or cream in a saucepan before placing it in the tao bao yogurt maker. Most yogurt makers can be used with any type of milk or cream, including goat's milk and soy milk.

3 Allow the milk to cool. Follow the directions on your machine, but most models will recommend that you wait until the milk is room temperature. While the milk is cooling, begin warming up the yogurt maker.

4 Combine the yogurt starter kit and the milk. It does not have to be beaten. Then, pour the liquid into the yogurt maker. Set the yogurt maker to begin processing.

5 Wait several hours. It can take anywhere from four to eight hours for the yogurt to be finished. Follow the recommended cooking time from your machine's instructions.

6 Place the yogurt in the refrigerator. You need to keep it chilled for at least hours. Once it is cold, you can add in fruit or additional flavorings.

Tips & Warnings:
For thicker yogurt, add cream, gelatin or milk powder to the recipe.

Don't let the yogurt sit in the machine after it is done cooking. It will cause it to spoil.
